SimpleShot helped me choose the right bands and ammo. The advice was clear, friendly, and exactly what I needed.
The fit, finish, and packaging all feel dialed in. This is the kind of gear that makes you want to keep practicing.
We bought a kit for backyard target shooting and everyone wanted a turn. Safe setup, good instructions, lots of fun.
A few things to consider when choosing a slingshot: how you hold it, your hand size, and whether you prefer OTT or TTF. Thumb supported shooters often like Scout-style frames; hammer grip shooters should look at Hammer-style options; smaller hands may prefer compact frames.
First, don’t overthink it. Start with a stable, adaptable platform, add a friendly band set, and build consistency before chasing power.
Use a rotary cutter, self-healing mat, ruler, and bulk band material. Clean cuts help bands last longer and shoot more consistently.
Spherical projectiles are the most consistent. Steel, clay, lead balls, and marbles all work when matched to the right bandset.
Both can be powerful when tuned to draw length and projectile. Flatbands usually feel faster at shorter draw lengths, while tubes often last longer.
OTT means the bands run over the top of the forks. TTF means they run through the fork. The best choice comes down to release style and personal preference.
About 300 shots is a common rule of thumb for flatbands, but UV, ozone, sharp ammo, and high elongation can shorten band life.
Orders are normally processed quickly. Promotions, large orders, special handling, and holidays can add extra time.
