Slant Spartan

The Slant Spartan is a limited edition of 320 individually numbered slingshots, machined from G10 and solid brass and designed by Mark Seljan. It’s a dedicated through-the-fork (TTF) shooter with an adjustable fiber-optic sight, built to be shot — and to age. When the run sells out, the design retires for good.

The Story

Ten years of refinement. One design. Only three hundred twenty of them.

Working with SimpleShot since 2013, Mark is a Hungarian industrial designer, university professor, top competitor, and one of a handful of people who’ve shaped what modern slingshot design looks like. The Slant is Mark’s design, and the Spartan is the version he signed off on.

Our job was to ship it the way he designed it. No simplifying for the production line. No value-engineering the materials. No compromise on the parts that took the longest to get right.

An Adjustable Sight

Keep your anchor and your aim exactly as they are. Move the sight where you want it — a full 180°, any direction. Your form stays put, and your accuracy dials in.

Built to Age

Built to wear. Built to be used. The brass takes on a patina the more you shoot it. Fifty years from now, it’ll look better than the day it shipped.

A Note on the Run

We set out to make three hundred — hence the name, Spartan. But to end up with three hundred perfect products, we have to make more than three hundred, because some won’t clear quality control. 320 passed, and we weren’t about to hold the extras back — so all 320 are available, each individually serialized.
