Introducing SimpleShot’s Target of the Month: A Fresh Challenge Every Month

There’s nothing like the thrill of hitting your mark. But let’s be honest—shooting at the same target day after day can get a little boring. That’s why we’re introducing something brand new for 2025: Target of the Month!

Each month, we’ll drop alimited-edition target to keep your shooting sessions fresh, fun, and challenging. And when we say limited, we mean it—these targets will only be available while supplies last (well, almost… more on that later).

Let’s break down what makesTarget of the Month the most exciting new evolution for SimpleShot shooters.

What Is Target of the Month?

Starting this January (today!), we’re launching a new target every month.

Each month’s target will be different. Some will be tricky shapes. Some will be precision-based challenges. Others might be just plain fun to destroy.

But there’s a catch—each target will only be available for a limited time.

Once a target sells out, it’s gone. Supplies are limited, and when they’re gone, that’s it! So if you see a target you love, grab it before it disappears.

But to add to the fun, we'll watch how quickly you gobble up a target and if we see one that sells out super-fast, we'll bring it back for good. So your purchase of a target is like a vote for it. Enough votes, and it'll stick.

Why We’re Doing It

At SimpleShot, we know slingshot shooting is more than just hitting a bullseye. It’s aboutmarksmanship, practice, and challenge.

But to keep progressing, you need to switch things up from time to time. That’s what Target of the Month is all about—giving younew challenges to keep your aim sharp and your shooting fresh.

OK, let's be honest. It's also all about FUN. Because hitting (and sometimes destroying) targets is the most fun part about shooting.

Target of the Month shooting tips:

Here’s the thing about targets — most of these targets will wear out over time. That’s the point, honestly. If you are able to hit your target over and over, it WILL wear out.

So here are our tips for our Targets of the Month:

1. Always wear eye protection. Always.

2. Use clay ammo.

Shooting with clay ammo is the best way to enjoy your Target of the Month without destroying it right away. Clay ammo is lightweight, biodegradable, and doesn’t produce ricochets (it will break if it hits hard enough). It’s also gentle on targets, which means you’ll get more shots before the target shows wear.

If youchoose to shoot steel ammo, expect the target to wear out much faster—or even break completely. Never shoot steel ammo at a target that could produce a ricochet. Safety first!

3. Remember, if you're skilled, you WILL wear out almost all targets.

The point is to literally crush them, so expect your target to wear out eventually. That's the name of the game.

In 2025, we’re making every month a new adventure withTarget of the Month—a fresh challenge to keep your slingshot sessions fun, exciting, and rewarding. Supplies are limited, so don’t wait when a new one drops. Shoot it, (maybe even destroy it), and get ready for what’s next. There’s always a new target to hit, and we’re just getting started!
