The New Axiom Slingshot is a modern OTT frame with Integrated Clips, born from years of design evolution and expertise.

Originally inspired by the Omega design, one of the first slingshots created under the FlippinOut brand, the predecessor to SimpleShot, the new Axiom combines timeless design elements with modern functionality. Every detail of the Axiom has been thoughtfully considered, from the ergonomic handle that melts into your hand to the perfect fork width.

When we decided to revive the original Axiom design from 2010, we knew we had to call in the master himself, Mark Seljan.

Back in 2017, Mark helped us create a clone of Nathan’s tournament-winning Axiom Ocularis, known as “Precious.” Taking Nathan’s handmade design, Mark prepped it for injection molding, adding his signature style and utility—what we now call classic ‘Seljan.’

Since its launch in 2018, the Axiom Ocularis has become a standout favorite in the SimpleShot lineup. In 2022, we teamed up with Mark again to create the Axiom X—a groundbreaking slingshot for the modern era. With its instantly recognizable shape, contours, and form, the Axiom X quickly earned its place as one of the coolest models in our collection.

So, when the time came to remake the original Axiom, it was obvious we’d partner with Mark once more. Through his expert 3D design, he managed to preserve the Axiom’s iconic features while enhancing every aspect of its performance. After a year of collaboration, Nathan and Mark fine-tuned every detail to perfection, creating the ultimate blend of classic Axiom design and modern slingshot innovation.
